Q: What is the difference between Psychotherapy,counselling and coaching?

A:Psychotherapy: can help to look at long lasting and deep difficulties and trauma.

Counselling: helps you recognise and solve your problems in life.

Coaching: can help you set and achieve goals, identify barriers, pinpoint needs to create a vision.

Q: Do you only offer Relationship and Couple Counselling?

A: No, in fact my background is in mental health, so I work with lots of issues, and am passionate about being apart of a journey that helps to restore peace for clients.

My Relationship work came much later after recognizing that many clients from all walks of life had one thing in common, loneliness, sadness and a want to be happy and predominantly it was around their close relationships, from partners to work colleagues, family and friends, all affecting our mental health. I was lucky enough to be offered training at what is classed as an internationality recognized institution for Couple Counselling, Tavistock in London.

Q: Is Relationship Counselling just for couples, or can single people see you?

A: No, in fact I see more and more single people, who are looking to start a new relationship but they have had difficult relationships in the past and don’t want to repeat this. Other clients may have chosen the same type of partner and this has proved destructive.

Q: So what is relationship counselling?

A: Relationship counselling is about everything relationship if you struggle in your couple relationships if you struggle with your relationship with alcohol, drugs, sex. But more importantly if you have a destructive relationship with yourself.

Q: What kind of problems can counselling and Psychotherapy help me with?

A: Counselling and Psychotherapy can help with a wide range of concerns, however, many different situations, and mental health issues, from anxiety and depression, to low self esteem to affairs and cheating to name just a few.

Q :How long do the Sessions Last?

A: Sessions are between 50 – 60 minutes.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: Well that depends, I provide open-ended we work at your own pace Short term counselling is usually from 6 to 20 weeks, although some people only want one or two sessions.  This we would look at throughout our sessions to continually assess what you feel your needs are.

Q: Where are you based?

A:I have an Online Practice, so this can be anywhere.

I have worked with people in Spain, canaries, Switzerland, Italy to name a few.

Q: What about Confidentiality?

A: Confidentiality is the cornerstone of my practice, and we will discuss this in your first session.

Q: How can I get the most out of my sessions?

A: We will look at your goals, and what you need and work together to achieving this, building trust and commitment to recognising you deserve this, enables you to get the most out of the sessions.
